University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) is a private university with a tradition of excellence in the health sciences.  It was founded in 1821 as the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, the first college of pharmacy in North America.  The University maintains a vibrant graduate program in health policy and an institute for health policy research.

This website is intended to inform our community about current topics in our faculty’s areas of special expertise, to announce the events that we sponsor, including symposia and lectures, and to help professionals and students with resources that link health policy analysis, research, and practice.

Health Policy Bulletin
Please read the first Health Policy Bulletin! Created by one of our MS students, this Bulletin marks the first of many great, informational communications to come out of the Department of Health Policy and Public Health.  With dedication to innovation and expertise in the field of Health Policy, we congratulate our students on this brilliant step forward in informing the community. You can access the HP Bulletin here.

In continuing our dedication to the community and the crusade for improved health care, the Fall 2007 speaker series was dedicated to current research in Health Policy being conducted by faculty and friends of USP.
